A shooting took place late this morning in front of the headquarters of the Kurdish Democratic Council of France, 16 rue d'Enghien, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. A Kurdish restaurant, AVESTA, and a hairdressing salon, MUNZUR, located opposite the CDKF were also shot at.  The shooting left three people dead, including a young woman and a young musician, Mîr Perwer.  According to witnesses, the assassin was dropped off in the street by an unidentified vehicle. According to the French police, he was 69 years old, already convicted of racist attacks and released from prison a few days ago.  The Kurdish community is shocked by this killing, which comes ten years after the murder in Paris of three young Kurdish activists by a far-right Turkish man manipulated by the Turkish secret service (MIT), which went unpunished.  We hope that the judicial investigation will elucidate the motives and possible sponsors of this killing and answer the fundamental question: Why did this assassin attack precisely Kurds, the only ones who courageously fight against ISIS and also the only ones deprived of a state, who are regularly sacrificed.
