Turkish ferry hijacker dead: governor

ISTANBUL, Nov 12, 2011 (AFP) — A hijacker of a Turkish ferry carrying 24 people was "captured dead" early Saturday, Istanbul's governor said.
"Soon after the beginning of an operation, the hijacker was captured dead," governor Huseyin Avni Mutlu told the private NTV television.
