Turkish air force bombs Kurdish rebels in Iraq: reports

ANKARA, Aug 18, 2011 (AFP) — Turkish planes bombed rebel Kurdish positions in northern Iraq for a second night Thursday, Turkish and pro-Kurdish news agencies reported.
The bombardments on the outlawed PKK rebels came in response to their bloody attack in southeast Turkey which killed nine members of the Turkish security forces.
