Turkey faces 'bigger hit' over Iraq operation: PKK

Arbil, Iraq, Oct 19, 2011 (AFP) — Turkey's forces face a "bigger hit" if they follow through with a ground incursion into Iraq's autonomous north where Kurdish rebels are based, a separatist spokesman told AFP on Wednesday.
"The Turkish army will take a bigger hit if they try to carry out any military operation outside of the Turkish border," Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) spokesman Ahmed Denis said.
