Istanbul, March 1, 2025 (AFP) — President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned on Saturday that Turkey would restart military operations against outlawed Kurdish militants unless the promises given was heeded.

"We will keep on our ongoing operations ... until we eliminate the last terrorist," Erdogan told a Ramadan fast-breaking dinner in Istanbul, hours after the PKK declared a ceasefire following a request by its jailed leader Abdullah Ocalan to disband.
