Syrian Kurds seek international force along Turkish border, top official tells AFP

Paris, Feb 18, 2019 (AFP) — A top Syrian Kurdish official called for an international force to be deployed along the border between Kurdish areas in northern Syria and Turkey to prevent a Turkish attack on the Kurds.
In an interview with AFP in Paris late Sunday Aldar Khalil said: "France can table a proposal to the Security Council on our protection, suggesting an international force between us and the Turks."
