
Several injured in bomb attack in southeastern Turkey: police

DIYARBAKIR, Turkey, Jan 3, 2008 (AFP) — Several people were injured in a bomb explosion Thursday in Diyarbakir, the biggest city in Turkey's mainly Kurdish southeast, local police said.
The blast occurred as a military vehicle was passing on a road in the city centre, a police official said.
It was not immediately clear how many people were hurt.
