Rocket fired at Iranian Kurdish fighters in Iraq, one killed: exiled group source

Erbil, Iraq, March 4, 2026 (AFP) — A Kurdish-Iranian fighter was killed on Wednesday in a rocket attack on the exiled Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK) in northern Iraq, a party source told AFP, requesting anonymity.
"The rocket hit a PAK position" in the northern autonomous Kurdistan region, which hosts camps and rear bases operated by several Iranian Kurdish rebel groups.
