Erbil, Iraq, March 1, 2026 (AFP) — New explosions were heard Sunday evening in Erbil, the capital of Iraq's northern Kurdistan region which hosts US bases.
Lound bangs shook the city, which is home to a US consulate and American troops, an AFP journalist said.
