Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said in a post on the X social media platform that raids in 30 provinces had led to the arrest of "231 members of presumed terrorist organisations".
The suspects had provided "finance" or "propaganda" for the banned Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
Journalist associations called for a protest rally Wednesday in Diyarbakir, the main Kurdish city in southeast Turkey, in response to the arrests.
The Turkish military, operating in northern Iraq, has "eliminated" PKK fighters in the Zap region, Defence Minister Yasar Guler reported separately.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sought to take a more conciliatory line with Kurdish hardliners in recent weeks and even hinted at the possible release of PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan who has been serving a life prison term since 1999.
