Kurdish militant PKK says withdrawing all its forces from Turkey to north Iraq: statement

Qandil Moutains, Iraq, Oct 26, 2025 (AFP) — The Kurdish militant PKK said it was withdrawing all of its forces from Turkey to northern Iraq on Sunday, in a statement published by Firat news agency.
"We are implementing the withdrawal of all our forces within Turkey," with 25 fighters -- both men and women -- already in northern Iraq, it said.
