Diyarbakir, Turkey, Dec 11, 2016 (AFP) — A Kurdish militant group on Sunday claimed responsibility for twin attacks that ripped through the heart of Istanbul, killing 38 people, most of them police, a news agency reported.
The claim was made by the Kurdistan Freedom Falcons (TAK), seen as an splinter group of the better-known Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), the pro-PKK Firat news agency said, carrying a statement from the group.
