Iran says arrests 9 foreigners linked to Mahsa Amini protests

Tehran, Sept 30, 2022 (AFP) — Iran on Friday said it had arrested nine foreign nationals who were linked to protests in the country over the death in police custody of young Kurdish woman Mahsa Amini.
"Nine foreign nationals from Germany, Poland, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, etc. were arrested at or behind the scene of riots," Iran's intelligence ministry said in a statement.
