Kidnapped lawmaker freed by Kurdish rebels

ANKARA, Aug 14, 2012 (AFP) — An ethnic Kurd lawmaker kidnapped by Kurdish rebels was freed on Tuesday, the private NTV television reported, citing the local governor.
Huseyin Aygun from the Republican People's Party (CHP) in the south-eastern city of Tunceli was abducted Sunday after his car was stopped by the rebels on the highway.
