ROME, Oct 7, 2006 (AFP) — Around 150 clandestine Kurdish immigrants landed overnight in Calabria, southern Italy, sea rescue services said Saturday.

The immigrants, including 25 women and 15 children, were generally in good health, rescuers said, adding that they had travelled in a 20-metre (22-yard) badly damaged boat.
